Alphabetize 'All Programs' in the Start Menu
You can alphabetize all the applications listed under the 'All Programs' in the Start menu. All you have to do is right-click some where in the 'All Programs' submenu and select 'Sort by Name.' All the program will now be listed alphabetically.

this doesn't work on my new computer which has XP. When i right click the menu simply 'Blinks'/'flashes' at me once and nothing happens. :-(
actually, it does work on XP. just mouse over one of your application folders while in the "all programs" menu. for example, if you have a "miscrosoft" folder, mouse over the folder, then right click, select "sort by name" and it alphabetizes all of your programs.
the only thing is, it separates folders vs. single applications, listing folders first then the single applications.
